Someone may well be saddle soar this month, thanks to an inspiring Charity Bike Ride.

Tennants sales stalwart, Ian Edwards, has reached the halfway point of his challenging 300 mile bike ride in May to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. For an old duffer like Ian, erm … we mean; for a mature gentleman such as Mr. Edwards, Rattling off 300 miles by pedal power alone in a single calendar month is no mean feat,. So kudos, indeed.

He’ll huff and he’ll puff until he’s reached his target of £500 (£300+ already!) and plans a celebratory bike ride after completing the challenge. Not really, we made that bit up. The only saddle Ian will be interested in for some weeks after May will be, “of lamb.”

We’re not sure what inspired this admirable feat; maybe he’s had an invitation from the sawbones for ‘The Check’. Relax, Mr Edwards, this may be somewhat uncomfortable.

If you haven’t already done so, please donate now – Cycle the Month for Prostate Cancer UK.
