Huge congratulations to MAN Truck and Bus employees, Tom Gosbee, Craig Shanon and Chris Woodford who recently completed the Cycle Malawi 2022 Challenge to help raise an incredible £230k (and counting) for Transaid.
Our intrepid trio pedalled 100kms on each of 5 days whilst braving temperatures consistently in excess of 30 degrees, brutal climbs, the constant threat of heat stroke and dehydration and even isolated dog attacks. Witnessing the poverty, poor healthcare and terrible conditions suffered by the locals, brought home not only the importance of Transaid’s work in the area but also the dignity and generosity of the Malawian people.
