Car dealers gamble on September 2020 sales has paid off. With their sales for electric vehicles up massively compared to 2019.
With almost a third of drivers shelving plans to swap their vehicle so far in 2020. Dealerships across the UK employed a range of initiatives and generous finance deals in September to tempt the consumer into buying a new 70 reg.
Early results appearing mixed, used cars are moving significantly quicker than new vehicles. But the real winners are Electric Vehicles. The demand for which has increased by a whopping 184% compared to this time last year.
It could be quite a long road to recovery for the Automotive Industry, but one which may primarily be paved in Green.
